Job summary

The Suddath Companies is seeking a Material Handler for a night shift (Mon-Fri, 1:30pm-10:00pm) in Jacksonville, FL. This role involves operating forklifts and other equipment to load, unload, and move merchandise, while maintaining strict inventory controls and adhering to OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two years related experience and/or training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner following OSHA standards and prescribed work methods.
• Load, unload, move, stack, and stage product using a forklift, reach truck, or pallet rider.
• Unload inbound shipments and move product to storage locations.
• Pull and pack products for shipment and ensure accurate quantity and type.
• Move product from staging to rail cars, trailers, or containers.
• Maintain inventory records and ensure accuracy of inbound/outbound shipments.
