Job summary

The Chefs' Warehouse in Austin, TX is seeking a Warehouse Associate to receive, store, and distribute materials, tools, and products across the plant and shipping areas. You will follow production schedules, handle orders, and prepare shipments.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, and 1–3 months of related experience or training; ability to operate within company standards; and willingness to work in a fast-paced foodservice supply environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1–3 months of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved or distributed.
• Conveys materials from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
• Sorts and stores perishable goods in refrigerated rooms.
• Fills requisitions and distributes items to production workers or the packing/shipping station.
• Assembles customer orders and prepares them for shipping.
