Job summary

Caterpillar's Clayton Distribution Center in Ohio is seeking a Warehouse Associate for second and third shifts. This role supports parts movement from the distribution center to customers, with emphasis on safety, accuracy, and teamwork.

You will operate scanners and equipment, complete tasks per procedures, and be eligible for overtime, weekly pay, benefits from day one, and a clear path for growth within the Caterpillar PSLD.

Qualifications

• Safety mindset and PPE adherence.
• At least 12 consecutive months in prior employment.
• Experience with cherry picker/reach truck/sit-down forklift is a plus.
• Ability to read, write, and conduct business in English.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform material handling, receiving, storing, moving, packing and shipping of parts and materials.
• Operate handheld scanners to update receiving, counting and order processing information.
• Willingness to be trained on cherry/order pickers, reach trucks, sit-down forklifts, and overhead cranes/hoists.
• Report defects and need for repairs.
• Build wooden shipping containers using pneumatic or power tools; apply paint and rust preventative.
• Perform housekeeping and other duties as assigned.
