Job summary

Cardinal Health, Inc. in Syracuse, NY is seeking a Warehouse Operations teammate to receive, store, pick, pack, and ship products. You will ensure accurate orders and maintain a clean, safe work environment throughout your shift.

The role offers 40 hours weekly on a Night shift (3rd Shift) and requires flexibility as tasks are completed. Benefits include medical, dental, vision coverage and a 1,000 USD new hire sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfort working with heights 20-30 ft regularly.
• Able to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift.
• Must be flexible to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to follow direction and change priorities.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced distribution environment while meeting established performance quotas and attendance requirements.
• Experience working with technologies, like computers or point of sale systems, a plus.
• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Basic proficiency in English is required, including being able to read and write in English in order to process documents.

Responsibilities

• Follow established process to fulfill orders. This includes accurately picking products, performing quality control checks, packing products, and preparing orders for shipment.
• Cross-training in multiple areas of the warehouse and participating in projects as needed.
• Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Willingness to train and be certified to drive material handling equipment as required by job duty.
