Job summary

nLIGHT, headquartered in Camas, Washington, is seeking a Wafer Fab Specialist I/II to join the manufacturing team. No experience required; on-the-job training will cover semiconductor processing, die bonding, wire bonding, electro-mechanical assembly, optical fibers, laser testing, and maintaining accurate production reports.

Shifts: B Shift on Sundays to Tuesdays with a bi-weekly Wednesday 5:00PM–5:15AM start; 12-hour clean room workdays; overtime may be required to meet production schedules.

Qualifications

• Ability to multitask with a high degree of flexibility.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented production environment.
• Proficient in basic computer skills to perform data entry.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities, meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform wafer production operations.
• Set-up, calibrate and perform preventative maintenance on wafer fabrication equipment.
• Collect and evaluate operating data to optimize processes.
• Follow specifications and instructions using available tools and test equipment; may involve chemicals.
