Legends Global is seeking a vigilant Security Officer to oversee the safety and security of patrons, employees, and assets at the KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, KY.

The First Shift runs from 11pm to 7am, with a pay rate of $14.00 per hour. Responsibilities include patrolling the venue, screening visitors, monitoring cameras, and logging incidents, while delivering professional service during events.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 0-1 years of related security experience; 1 year preferred.
• CPR certification is required.
• Understand relevant laws and penal codes pertaining to safety and security.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Patrols the building to keep interior and exterior secure throughout shift.
• Responds to safety and security calls in a timely manner.
• Screens and logs visitors to ensure appropriate access.
• Monitors security cameras and ensures devices are functional.
• Operates lighting (Lutron) to provide lighting as needed.
• Investigates incidents and compiles accurate reports.
• Interacts with upset patrons calmly to prevent escalation and assists with ejecting disruptive guests.
• Regulates crowds during venue events to maintain order.
• Manages keys and access for designated personnel.
• Participates in training with Security Manager for emergency response.
