Job summary

Transco Rail Services, part of Marmon Holdings, is seeking a Valve Technician to provide construction, repair and support for our railcar products. You will learn a new trade through on-the-job training and contribute to safe, reliable service.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, disassembly and reassembly of fittings, valve testing, and maintaining a clean work area in compliance with safety standards. We offer comprehensive benefits and a strong 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn a new trade via on-the-job training.
• Able to pass drug screen and physical.

Responsibilities

• Disassembles and assembles fittings on tank cars.
• Test, rebuild and test valve to reveal defects.
• Maintain work area in a neat and orderly manner and report hazards.
• Lift up to 50 pounds as needed and perform tasks requiring climbing and balancing on ladders and platforms.
• Follow safety and compliance procedures.
