Job description

Position Summary

Nationality requirements: This role may require U.S. nationality and eligibility for a security clearance.

This role supervises and coordinates activities within a designated value stream, overseeing daily operations, leading a team, and implementing continuous improvement strategies to optimize processes and deliver high-quality products or services.

Typical production hours are Monday to Thursday, 5:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., with overtime on Fridays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to a team within the value stream.
• Oversee day‑to‑day operations, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
• Implement Lean or Agile principles to optimize processes within the value stream.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement changes.
• Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve overall efficiency.
• Encourage a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
• Work closely with the quality assurance team to ensure that products or services meet defined quality standards.
• Implement corrective actions and preventive measures as necessary.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including production, logistics, and maintenance, to ensure seamless operations.
• Foster effective communication and teamwork.
• Identify training needs within the team and coordinate training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Support the professional development of team members.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to the value stream.
• Generate regular reports on production performance and contribute to data‑driven decision‑making.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the value stream.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment.

Required Skills and Abilities

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a fast‑paced, high‑volume manufacturing or operational setting.
• Familiarity with Lean or Agile methodologies and continuous improvement practices.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to analyze data and implement data‑driven solutions.
• Problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
• Knowledge of quality assurance principles and practices.
