Job summary

Wayne Farms is seeking a dependable team member to fill in and perform all duties in the assigned area during absences. The role includes knife distribution, line setup, and on-the-job training for new or current workers.

You will maintain a clean work area and follow NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines and all regulations. Responsibilities require ability to work nights, weekends, and extended shift hours, with a strong work ethic and self-motivation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, not required.
• Basic math skills for daily tasks.
• Proven leadership abilities and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Fill in and perform all jobs in the assigned area when others are absent.
• Distribute and manage knives; set up lines with stands and ice.
• Train incoming or current workers on new skills as needed.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary work area and comply with safety rules.
• Other duties as assigned.
