Barnes-Jewish Hospital in the St. Louis region is seeking a Unit Secretary to support the patient care team with clerical tasks and customer service during night shifts. The role covers 24 hours per week, with 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• No prior experience required.
• Strong customer service and clerical skills are needed.

Responsabilités

• Supports the clinical operations by providing customer service and clerical support.
• Transcribes physician orders as appropriate with close attention to detail.
• Notifies appropriate nurse when STAT orders are written or when coordinating tests and procedures. Communicates new orders to the healthcare team as appropriate.
