Wellington Regional Medical Center in Wellington, FL, part of Universal Health Services, seeks a receptionist/secretary for the nursing unit. This full-time role features a night shift in the Emergency Department and benefits. The hospital is a 235-bed acute care facility dedicated to high-quality care and community service.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, strong medical terminology knowledge, and excellent communication. BLS certification is required; EKG knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and working knowledge of medical terminology.
• Previous experience in clinical or receptionist position, hospital experience, or satisfactory completion of training program preferred.
• Able to perform detailed assignments and work under pressure.
• Possesses communication skills to relate to patients, hospital staff, physicians, and visitors.
• American Heart Association certification in BLS required.
• Basic EKG or arrhythmia recognition course preferred.
• Computer experience required.
