Job summary

Schupan in Kalamazoo, MI is seeking a Truck Loader for the 3rd shift to support production, loading, and routing for delivery. You will work to create shipping routes, load product, and coordinate truck movements to customers.

Responsibilities include operating a forklift, data entry, and routing trucks, with training provided for tractor trailer operations and a strong emphasis on attendance and safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of related experience.
• 6 months of prior forklift operating experience preferred; candidates must be able to be licensed to operate mobile equipment.
• Valid driver's license (CDL not required).
• Knowledge of arithmetic.
• Basic computer skills, including a working knowledge of ERP systems (Visual/Smart Views) and truck routing software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute the loading of SAPS and transfer trucks according to production schedules and shipping requirements.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute truck routing schedules to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
• Operate forklift and material moving equipment.
• Use a computer to perform data entry.
• Operate a tractor trailer within the confines of the facility (training provided on the job).
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
