Qualifications

• Clear oral and written communication skills, legible handwriting required.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions; basic measurement & arithmetic.
• Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
• Team-oriented with good working relationships.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload material to/from supplier vehicles using material handling equipment such as a forklift, overhead crane or side loaders.
• Examine material for obvious quality defects and verify conformance to orders with measuring devices like a tape measure.
• Tag material for proper identification and complete required documentation.
• Safely operate commercial trucks on Company property.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
• Report irregularities to supervisor for direction.
• Adhere to applicable safety and quality standards.
