Job summary

Healthforce is seeking a Registered Nurse for a psychiatric travel assignment in Nashua, NH. The 13-week contract starts 09/28/2026, with night shifts (7 pm–7 am) and 36 hours per week on a hospital-based geropsychiatric unit.

You’ll deliver comprehensive nursing care to adults and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support safe patient outcomes. Qualifications include NH RN license and BLS; 1 year of nursing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active State of New Hampshire RN license.
• BLS certification required.
• Education: Associate degree or diploma from a 3-year nursing program required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience: 1 year nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care on the geropsychiatric unit, including assessment, monitoring, documentation, and timely reporting of changes in patient conditions
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments, ensuring accuracy and safety per physician orders
• Complete and maintain accurate medical histories, mental and physical assessments, progress notes, and other required documentation
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary treatment team; participate in daily groups, 1:1 interactions, and milieu-based activities
• Coordinate nursing care activities, discharge planning, and collaboration with physicians, therapists, social workers, and external agencies to optimize patient outcomes
