Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced Pediatric Acute RN for a night shift contract in a rural Arizona location. The ideal candidate has a valid RN license in the US, 3+ years of pediatric nursing, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications. Completion of P-CAR and NIHSS within 6 months of hire is required, with orientation every two weeks.

The position runs 1800-0630 on a 13-week contract and uses Allscripts EMR, with holiday coverage expected.

Qualifications

• Active RN license from any US state, Puerto Rico, or a US territory.
• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience.
• Must complete P-CAR within 6 months of hire.
• Must complete NIHSS certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Acute care pediatric unit within a hospital setting.
• Supports patients of all ages and their families.
• Night shift schedule (1800-0630).
• 13-week contract assignment.
• Uses Allscripts EMR.
• Holiday coverage required.
• Perform nursing care procedures per physician orders and hospital policy.
• Work independently in completing patient care assignments.
• Orientation every 2 weeks.
