Job summary

Healthforce Healthcare LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse for an Emergency Department travel assignment in Murphysboro, Illinois. Begin 08/10/2026 for 13 weeks, with night shifts from 19:00 to 07:30 and guaranteed 36 hours per week.

Certifications required include BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS; TNCC preferred. Passion for compassionate, family-centered care in a fast-paced ED within a critical access hospital is essential.

Qualifications

• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS certifications required.
• RN license or registered nurse credential required.
• TNCC preferred for trauma/critical care settings.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced Emergency Department within a Critical Access Hospital.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients to determine physical, psychological, and spiritual needs and provide patient- and family-centered care.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care with the multidisciplinary team; document changes as needed.
• Deliver health teaching, counseling, and advocacy to promote health and safety.
• Demonstrate clinical judgment and report changes in condition promptly.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the medical record and support safety and quality initiatives.
• Supervise and delegate to licensed practical nurses and/or nursing assistants as appropriate.
