Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a night-shift CT Technologist for a freestanding Emergency Department with adult and pediatric patients. The role requires prior travel experience and pediatric imaging expertise, with proficiency in post-processing and contrast protocols.

The position operates 7:00 PM–7:00 AM, includes weekend coverage, and involves float duties between two campuses. Candidates should have ARRT CT and ARRT(R) certifications, BLS, and a MA Radiology license if applicable, plus

Qualifications

• ARRT CT and ARRT(R) certifications, plus BLS are required.
• Massachusetts Radiology license is required if applicable.
• Minimum 1 year CT experience is required.
• Prior travel assignment experience is required.
• Documented pediatric imaging experience in a complex medical center.
• Community hospital experience is required.
• Level I/II Trauma experience preferred.
• Proficiency in image display and post-processing (3D, MPR, ROI).
• Experience with abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, spine/MSK, and chest CT studies.
• Experience with contrast preparation, administration, IV starts, and venipuncture.
• Knowledge of radiation safety and PPE.
• Experience with aspirates, biopsies, and drainage.

Responsibilities

• Newly built, state-of-the-art freestanding Emergency Department.
• Cares for adult and pediatric patient populations.
• Night shift, 2x12 hours from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
• Every weekend required.
• Floats between two campus locations (30-40 minutes apart) with advanced notice.
• May work alone during certain shifts at one location, with full 12-hour shifts and no scheduled breaks.
• Uses Epic EMR.
• Equipment includes GE and Siemens CT scanners with PACS.
• Must start on the posted start date; no other start dates considered.
• Hours are firm with no additional shifts beyond posted.
• Pass/fail EKG test as part of screening.
• Experience with coronary CTA, brain perfusion, and cardiac imaging preferred.
• Pediatric acute care and outpatient experience preferred.
