Barnes-Jewish Hospital at Washington University Medical Center in Missouri is seeking a Clinical Nurse for Kidney/Liver Transplant Surgery. The role features three 12-hour night shifts per week, full-time status, and a sign-on bonus up to $15,000.

You will join a highly specialized team supporting complex transplant and hepatobiliary procedures. Expect comprehensive transplant orientation, critical care training, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Direct patient care activities including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Graduate Nurse must obtain licensure within 90 days of graduation.
• No prior supervisor experience required.

Responsibilities

• Promotes patient and family centered care in a healing environment.
• Educates patients and families on managing illness and post-treatment home care and medications.
• Uses critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs.
• Develops and implements individual plans of care in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Evaluates patient responses and updates the care plan during the stay.
• Participates in safety, quality, and regulatory compliance activities.
• Engages in professional development.
