Job summary

Owensboro Health Regional Hospital is seeking a dedicated SRNA to provide direct patient care under nurse supervision in a fast-paced hospital unit. You will greet patients, orient them to the environment, and support the care team to ensure safety and quality during shifts.

The role requires critical thinking, strong communication, and the ability to work under pressure in a 72-hour pay period. Kentucky SRNA certification and BLS within 90 days are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; SRNA certification in Kentucky required on hire.
• Current BLS Healthcare Provider certification within 90 days of employment.
• Experience in a hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and orient new patients to the hospital and unit routines.
• Assist nursing staff with direct patient care and documentation in EMR.
• Support safety by following policies and participating in handoffs and rounds.
• Monitor patient status, report abnormal findings, and assist with transport and equipment needs.
