Job summary

Amerit Fleet Solutions in Pacoima, CA is seeking a Trailer Technician/Mechanic to diagnose and repair trailers, perform preventive maintenance, and keep fleets operating safely. This role provides a graveyard schedule and the chance to grow within a national fleet maintenance company.

The pay is $28.00-$31.00 per hour with weekly pay and full benefits within 30 days, plus an SRT bonus opportunity up to $15,000 annually based on performance. Graveyard shift: 9:00 PM–5:30 AM, Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in performing repairs on class 7-8 trailers.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical issues.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must own and maintain personal tools and a toolbox necessary to perform job duties.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on trailers.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.
• Complete inspections and ensure vehicles meet safety standards.
• Document repairs and complete work orders.
• Maintain tools and equipment.
• Follow safety procedures and company guidelines.
• Work with supervisors and team members to keep fleets operational.
