Job summary

Reliance, Inc. is seeking a Traffic Coordinator to support daily shipping operations by managing inventory allocation and coordinating transportation.

You will ensure timely communication with drivers, carriers, and internal teams to maintain smooth logistics and accurate documentation for on-time deliveries. The role includes preparing driver pay sheets, generating BOLs/MTRs, updating the freight accrual system, and ensuring compliance with DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience in shipping/traffic operations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with MS Outlook, Excel and Word; comfortable with new systems.

Responsibilities

• Allocate inventory for outgoing shipments and ensure material accuracy.
• Verify stock levels and locations for shift operators via radio.
• Prepare and finalize driver pay sheets after loads.
• Generate and distribute BOLs and MTRs; email docs to customers.
