Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Team Lead Operator to guide daily production activities and ensure manufacturing line excellence. This non-supervisory lead role coordinates with maintenance, QA, scheduling, and other departments to meet production goals while upholding GMP and safety standards.

You will train operators, document processes, and support continuous improvements, focusing on uptime reduction and cost efficiency for nutritional and pediatric products.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the department and trained on all equipment.
• Strong knowledge of GMP and safety standards on the manufacturing line.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a consistent presence on the production line 75% of the time to coach, train, and mentor operators.
• Coordinate with maintenance, QA, and other departments to meet production goals and ensure compliance.
• Support continuous improvements and document processes for uptime and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with Abbott facilities and management to align across plants and initiatives.
• Lead in problem-solving, safety, and quality, while communicating risks and decisions.
• Perform first-level maintenance and basic CIP/PM tasks on line equipment.
