Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Graduate of a Surgical Technology Program or acceptable NYS LPN.
• 1 to 3 years of scrubbing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a sterile field throughout the surgical procedure.
• Prepare operating rooms and assist with patient positioning.
• Inspect sterile items for contamination and maintain sterility.
• Perform accurate instrument, sponge, and needle counts.
• Anticipate the needs of the surgeon and assist as directed.
