Responsibilities

• Maintain sterile field.
• Prepare operating rooms and assist with patient positioning as needed.
• Inspect sterile items for contamination before opening; maintain sterility of instruments and supplies.
• Perform accurate instrument, sponge and needle counts according to policies.
