Job summary

Idaho Youth Ranch is opening a new Residential Center for Healing and Resilience, a 64-bed youth psychiatric residential treatment facility in Idaho's Treasure Valley. The Shift Supervisor will lead and supervise direct care staff, ensure adherence to program standards, and support onboarding and ongoing training for Youth Care Providers.

Qualifications include age 21+, Idaho driver’s license, and a mix of educational credentials with related residential care experience.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Must have a valid Idaho driver's license or obtain one within 15 days of hire.
• Must possess High School diploma or equivalent and three years full time experience in a children's residential facility OR an Associate's degree and two years full time experience in a children's residential care facility OR a Bachelor's degree and one year full time experience in a children's residential care facility.

Responsibilities

• Leads up to 20 staff and/or interns assigned to them to provide outstanding care to youth and complete all required tasks.
• Assists with on-boarding and training Youth Care Providers.
• Carries out duties and tasks in accordance with the program’s standards and procedures and ensures that other direct care staff do the same.
