Job summary

The GIANT Company in Chambersburg, PA is hiring for a store team member to enter orders, schedule work, supervise and train staff, receive and stock items, check dates and adjust pricing as needed. This role supports store operations and customer service on a busy sales floor.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, stocking shelves, backstock, and ensuring shelves are primed for customers, with physical duties up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to communicate and understand company policies and safety regulations in order to complete job duties in a satisfactory manner.
• Must meet the ergonomic and physical requirements, as well as the physical base scores for this position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must meet the company performance standards for the job including but not limited to regular attendance.
• Must be able to use, or learn to use, the equipment and tools used to perform this job.

Responsibilities

• Review the work schedule at the start of the shift, check the equipment and supplies required to perform the work scheduled, comply with PPE requirements, and prepare for duties.
• Unload truck, break down loads, assemble U-boats according to department, and push U-boats out to floor.
• Stock shelves, perform backstock, and present store.
• Break down cardboard, fold it flat, and bale cardboard.
