Job summary

Qualifications

• 2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
• Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (for example Open Door trainings).
• For facilities that sell firearms, state-specific requirements such as background checks may apply.

Responsibilities

• Leads and develops teams by teaching training and actively listening to associates, touring stores and providing feedback.
• Drives store operations, focuses on customer service and community outreach, and ensures customer needs and issues are resolved.
• Manages financial performance by reviewing PL statements, budgeting, forecasting and controlling expenses to meet sales and profit goals.
• Promotes a culture of belonging by supervising and developing hourly associates, hiring, training and recognizing performance.
