Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Stocking Clerk to ensure shelves are stocked and the store operates smoothly. You will handle grocery placement, backroom duties, and maintain a clean, safe environment while delivering friendly customer service.

The role involves overnight shifts, strong teamwork, and the ability to handle physical tasks. Training is provided to learn store processes and technology used daily.

Qualifications

• Comfortable learning and using basic technology.
• Organized and efficient in completing tasks.
• Calm and productive in a fast-paced environment.
• Enjoys working as part of a team and supporting shared goals.
• Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, twist, push, pull, and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated backroom areas.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
