Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. is seeking a Stocker to keep shelves stocked, assist customers, and prepare the store for the next day. You’ll rotate inventory, maintain backroom organization, and ensure displays are up to standard.

The role includes operating pallet jacks, handling deliveries, and working varied shifts including day, evening, or overnight to support a fast-paced store environment.

Qualifications

• Customer interaction skills with clear communication on the sales floor (must be able to assist customers)
• Stocking and merchandising: place products on shelves and maintain display standards
• Product knowledge: familiarity with store layout, product locations, pricing
• Attention to detail: accuracy in stocking, rotation, labeling, and removing outdated products
• Organization and time management: manage workload while keeping areas clean
• Equipment use: operate pallet jacks and store equipment safely
• Inventory awareness: monitor stock levels and backroom organization
• Operational awareness: follow company policies, safety procedures, stocking processes
• Adaptability: comfortable with varied shifts including day, evening, overnight
• Physical capability: frequent lifting up to 60 lbs

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves and assist customers on the sales floor
• Prepare store for next day during overnights; handle deliveries and reset displays
• Move products from backroom to sales floor and rotate inventory
• Keep aisles clear and organized; maintain cleanliness and labeling accuracy
• Operate pallet jacks and store equipment following safety guidelines
• Monitor inventory levels and backroom organization
• Follow company policies and stocking procedures
• Adapt to flexible shifts including day, evening, overnight
