Job summary

A-Team Solutions is seeking a Certified Sterile Processing Technician for the VA Medical Center in Oklahoma City, OK. Night shift 2330-0800. Full-time position with benefits.

Responsibilities include handling surgical instrumentation, aseptic processing, and maintaining logs in accordance with VA SOPs and safety standards. Candidates must have 2+ years of experience, CPR/BLS certification, and current licensure in the United States.

Qualifications

• Two years of Sterile Processing experience prior to starting at the VA Medical Center.
• CPR/BLS certification is required.
• Knowledge of surgical terminology and human anatomy.
• Reads, writes and speaks English fluently.
• Current, unrestricted licensure in a US state or DC.

Responsibilities

• Handle surgical instrumentation and aseptic processing.
• Collect contaminated items from user sites.
• Sort, inspect, and process instrumentation.
• Apply cleaning techniques using the Spaulding System.
• Maintain logs and ensure compliance with SOPs.
