Job summary

Overlake Medical Center & Clinics is seeking a Certified Sterile Processing Technician to perform decontamination, assembly, packaging, and sterilization of reprocessed items in the Sterile Processing Department.

The role includes developing and maintaining systems under the direction of the shift supervisor, with a full-time, 40-hour week and night shift (5x8 hours). A sign-on bonus is offered for new hires and CRCST/CBSPD certification is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CRCST or CBSPD certification required.
• 1 year sterile processing experience preferred.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Knowledge of decontamination and sterilization procedures.
• Ability to assemble full surgical instrument trays and related equipment.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and lift ~30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate, assemble, package and sterilize all reprocessed items and equipment.
• Develop and maintain systems and projects under the shift supervisor.
• Handle full surgical instrument trays and related instrumentation.
