Job summary

Crothall Healthcare is hiring for a full-time Sterile Processing Aide at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, NY. The role runs 11:00pm–7:00am with rotating weekends and holidays, and prior sterile processing experience is preferred.

The pay rate is $17.00 per hour. As a member of Crothall Healthcare, you will contribute to a culture focused on care, safety, and excellence within the healthcare environment, supporting ongoing operations and patient care through sterilization and supply

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in related healthcare field preferred.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift greater than 50 pounds.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs decontamination, sterilization, assembly, case carts, storage and distribution of supplies and mobile equipment.
• Cleans, decontaminates, inspects, sterilizes, and transports equipment and instruments.
• Operates sterilizing equipment and tracks instrumentation using central system.
