Job summary

Ardent Health Services in Tulsa, OK seeks a Night Shift, full-time Sterile Processing Tech to decontaminate, assemble and sterilize surgical instruments, and clean patient care equipment.

Under the direction of the Sterile Processing Supervisor, you will ensure accurate documentation of the sterilization process, participate in reprocessing loaner and consignment sets, and may serve as a preceptor to new staff or OR cross-training.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must obtain CRCST, CSPDT or CST certification within one year of hire.
• Preferred CRCST, CSPDT or CST certificate.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments and clean patient care equipment.
• Ensure accurate documentation of the sterilization process and report abnormalities to leadership.
• Participate in proper receiving and reprocessing activities related to loaner and consignment sets.
• Under the direction of the department Educator, may serve as preceptor to new staff or OR staff cross-training to Sterile Processing.
