Job summary

Ardent Health Services is seeking an evening shift, full-time Operating Room Sterile Supply Processing Technician in Albuquerque, NM. This role involves decontamination, accurate assembly, and sterile processing of instruments for the OR and ambulatory departments, ensuring compliance with all regulations and patient safety.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma and knowledge of sterilization standards; a Sterile Processing certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Advanced knowledge of regulatory standards for universal precautions, sterilization methodologies, and regulatory standards for biological monitoring.
• Ability to take a lead role in workflow and problem-solve equipment malfunctions.
• One year of prior experience in Central Supply or Sterile Processing in a hospital or clinic setting.
• National Certification in Sterile Processing or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for decontamination, correct assembly, and sterile processing of all instruments used in the operating room and ambulatory/specialty clinics.
• Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
