Job summary

Randstad USA in Port Deposit, MD is seeking a warehouse associate to operate a stand-up order picker and other PIT equipment safely. You will pick cases at height using an RF scanner and prepare pallets for outbound loading.

This role requires at least 6 months forklift experience, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and reliable attendance. Training covers safety and equipment basics; background check and drug screen are required. Shift is 06:00 PM to 05:45 AM with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of forklift experience; certification is not required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (typical case 20–30 lbs).
• Comfort working at height on an order picker platform.
• Able to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Reliable attendance and ability to follow written and verbal instructions at a steady pace.

Responsibilities

• Operate a stand-up order picker (cherry picker) and other powered industrial trucks safely.
• Pick cases from rack locations at height using an RF scanner.
• Build, stack, and stage pallets so they are stable and ready for outbound loading.
• Move product to the correct staging and storage locations.
• Complete a pre-shift equipment inspection and report any issues to a supervisor.
• Follow all safety rules, including fall protection, lockout/tagout, and 5S standards.
• Keep your work area clean and organized.
• Communicate workload and safety concerns to team leads and supervisors.
