Job summary

Quest Diagnostics in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Specimen Technician I for night shift (9:00 PM–5:30 AM) with rotational weekends. You will handle data entry, specimen preparation, and basic lab support in a fast-paced diagnostics environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Data entry of test orders and presort; pickup and delivery of processed specimens to the lab; centrifugation and aliquoting.
• Process specimens to be sent out to other facilities.
• Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing.
• Identify problems and, when needed, resolve issues with specimen types (e.g., missing information).
• Understand the relationship between tests ordered and specimens received.
