Job summary

Labcorp in Dublin, OH is seeking a Specimen Processor to join our clinical laboratory team. This role handles reception, preparation, and data entry of specimens, ensuring accurate labeling and workflow efficiency in a fast-paced, production-like environment.

The position requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently and with a team, in compliance with safety and quality standards. Schedule is Tuesday–Saturday, 1:00am–9:30am with potential overtime; comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 months or more of specimen processing experience.
• 3 months or more of medical or laboratory experience.

Responsibilities

• Receive and sort clinical lab specimens
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis
• Scan and/or data entry of specimen and patient information
• Ensure all lab equipment is working properly and perform minor instrumentation maintenance
• Troubleshoot any specimen related issues
• Replenish test bench supplies as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Complete record logs and other administrative duties as requested
• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures to ensure safety and quality standards
