Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Specimen Processor I to join our Bristol, PA team. The role focuses on preparing specimens for analysis, labeling accurately, and routing materials to the correct areas in a high‑throughput lab.

You will also handle data entry, packaging and shipping, and assist in meeting daily production goals while working in a collaborative environment. Evening shift availability is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
• At least 3 months' experience in lab, accessioning, production, manufacturing, or warehouse.
• Able to handle biological specimens.
• Strong data entry and organizational skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing.
• Unpack and route specimens to staging areas.
• Accurately identify and label specimens.
• Pack and ship specimens to testing facilities.
• Meet department activity and production goals.
• Data entry of patient information in a timely manner.
• Resolve and document any problem specimens.
• The Specimen Accessioner will perform accessioning, sorting and data entry according to procedures.
