Job summary

Antech Diagnostics is seeking a Specimen Processor to receive, prepare, and process lab samples in a fast-paced environment. The role supports accurate data entry, sample labeling, and storage, with emphasis on timely turnaround times.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 0-1 years of related experience. The shift is Monday–Friday 11:00pm–7:30am with rotating Saturdays, offering a competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required, with science related classes.
• 0-1 years related work experience preferred.
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in English for team meetings and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Receives and prepares samples for laboratory analyses.
• Accurately process standard requisitions per approved procedures at expected rates.
• Enter patient data, label samples and aliquot for multiple testing.
• Keep inventory of samples and scan into storage racks.
• Sort samples for distribution throughout the lab.
• Scan tubes and enter specimen data into database.
• Accession various sample types for processing.
• Ensure Turn Around Times are met.
• Follow SOPs and maintain clean, organized work area.
