Job summary

Tandem PV, Inc. in Fremont is seeking a motivated entry-level manufacturing technician to join our Pilot Manufacturing facility. You will operate solar panel production tools, run material tests, and maintain detailed records in a fast-paced team environment.

We provide training to help you master the equipment and processes, with a focus on safety, quality, and collaboration. The role includes night shift duties from 9pm to 6am and opportunities to grow your technical skills in solar technology.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required or equivalent.
• Ability to follow work instructions and procedures.
• Proficiency with hand tools.
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail is essential for quality control.
• Ability to stand for long periods in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Good attendance and communication skills.
• Willingness to perform repetitive tasks.
• Experience running manufacturing tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing tool and run tests to evaluate material performance.
• Keep accurate notes on results and maintain organized workspace.
• Ensure equipment is in good condition and properly stored.
• Learn from experienced teammates and develop technical skills.
• Work the third shift from 9pm to 6am.
• Collaborate with team to meet production targets and report data when required.
