Job summary

Barlean’s Organic Oils, LLC Ferndale, Washington, United States is seeking a Production Operator for the night shift to operate encapsulation equipment, perform setup, changeovers, and packaging tasks. The role includes monitoring drying systems, maintaining product quality, and complying with GMP/SQF standards while working a 12.5‑hour night schedule.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and machine operator experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must follow GMP, GDP, Barlean’s SOPs and SQF regulations.
• Set up, operate, and inspect encapsulation equipment for production runs.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and resolve capsule defects during runs.
• Perform equipment cleaning and material changeovers.
• Monitor drying equipment and ensure capsule quality.

Responsibilities

• Operate encapsulation equipment for production runs and assist with setup and changeovers.
• Sort capsules and inspect for quality, ensuring compliance with standards.
• Monitor and troubleshoot equipment to minimize downtime during shifts.
• Prepare finished capsules for storage or transfer, maintaining organization and cleanliness.
• Follow safety, GMP and sanitation protocols and use PPE as required.
