Qualifications

BSW with two years of social work or counseling experience.
Bachelor's in a human services field and three years of related experience.
Bachelor's from a four-year college and four years of related experience.

Responsibilities

Works night duty schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays, ensuring constant coverage of the Child Abuse Hotline and timely response to reporters.
Assesses reports of abuse, neglect, or dependency of children, conducts interviews, and collaborates with law enforcement and prosecutors.
Invokes court action when needed, accompanies law enforcement to obtain custody, and participates in forensic interviews at the Child Advocacy Center.
Participates in unit/team staffing, presents case assessments, and maintains documentation in case files.
Completes referrals after hours and responds to emergencies; undergoes criminal background check and drug screening as required.
