Qualifications

• Ability to operate handheld scanner, personal computer and control panels.
• Work with minimal supervision and follow instructions on blend sheets.
• Read, analyze and solve problems; maintain accurate batch records.
• Strong math, communication and teamwork skills; familiarity with SAP.
• High school diploma or GED as preferred minimum education.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Production Supervisor on production order add-ons and changeovers.
• Read blend sheets and follow on-blend instructions precisely.
• Use handheld scanners to track ingredients in process and on sheets.
• Record correct batch numbers and manage aging ingredient batches.
• Collect samples for Lab/Quality Assurance analyses.
• Maintain neat work area and dispose of waste per procedures.
• Assist with training of new employees when requested by Supervisor.
• Adhere to safety policies and Good Manufacturing Practices.
