Job summary

Gray Construction is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join our Field Operations team. You’ll own field activities from startup to closeout, lead the on-site team, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure safety, quality and schedule.

This role requires 10+ years in construction, strong leadership, reading drawings and contract documents, and proficiency with tools like Navisworks, Bluebeam and Excel. Night shifts 4pm-4am and occasional weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of construction experience.
• Experience leading on-site management teams and coordinating subcontractors.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, financial reports and contracts.
• Strong leadership, people management and collaboration skills.
• Proficient with project scheduling and safety programs.

Responsibilities

• Own field activities from start-up to completion, including safety, quality, schedule and logistics.
• Lead on-site management team and coordinate subcontractors to meet schedule.
• Provide real-time schedule data and ensure timely buyout of subcontracts.
• Maintain lookahead schedules and deliver projects on time.
• Conduct meetings, prepare monthly progress reports, and manage project budgets.
• Mentor and develop on-site team members; enforce Gray policies and safety culture.
• Close out construction site and ensure documentation is complete.
