Samuel, Son & Co. in Tucson, AZ seeks an experienced manufacturing supervisor to oversee daily operations, supervise personnel, and ensure production schedules are met. The role requires coordinating with maintenance, QA, and project managers while upholding safety and ITAR requirements.

Candidate must have extensive fabrication experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to enforce company policies in a dynamic environment. Certification in GMAW/FCAW is a plus.

Qualifications

• 10 years’ fabrication experience or equivalent attributes.
• Must pass an ITAR background check.
• Effective communication including layoffs, terminations, and disciplinary action.
• Ability to enforce and implement company mandates.
• Certification: 2/3G open root GMAW/FCAW.

Responsabilités

• Manages and oversees daily operations, supervising personnel.
• Assists with and troubleshoots production issues, safety and environmental matters.
• Ensures manufacturing schedules are met by allocating manpower, space, and machinery.
• Prioritizes equipment repair with maintenance to minimize impact on jobs and safety.
• Speaks for schedule/operation questions and coordinates with project managers.
• Monitors tool room status and consumables; coordinates with welders and QA.
