Job summary

Elevate Human Capital seeks a Shop Hand-Night Shift for a client in the Houston area. The role supports production operations by ensuring materials, supplies, and equipment are readily available while helping maintain an organized, safe machine shop.

No prior experience is required; entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply. Training covers safety, quality systems, and work procedures as outlined in the training matrix.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Trade school training is a plus.
• Must be able to read and write.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Remove and dispose of machine cuttings and scrap materials.
• Replenish machine coolant levels as needed.
• Sweep and maintain cleanliness of machine shop floors.
• Ensure finished parts continue moving through production.
• Load and unload racks and pallet stands to support operators.
• Monitor and maintain thread protector inventory and availability.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Assist rack hands and other production personnel as needed.
• Collect, transport, and deliver supplies to production lines.
• Follow all company safety policies and requirements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
