Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer for Night Shift Patrol in Duluth, GA. You will serve clients at a financial institution, patrol interior and exterior areas, monitor access points, and deter security incidents. The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and customer service on a full-time basis.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 for armed roles.
• Background check as required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and staff by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and notify appropriate personnel as required.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including building entrances, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points and common areas, observe for irregular activity, and complete required logs and reports using clear, accurate documentation.
• Assist with visitor and vendor processing, including verifying identification as directed, issuing temporary credentials when applicable, and directing individuals to the appropriate area.
