Job summary

The University of Texas at Austin in Port Aransas, TX seeks a Night Shift Guard to monitor and protect university facilities and assist with access control and incident reporting. Responsibilities

Conduct vehicle and foot patrols, screening visitors.
Control access to restricted areas.
Open and secure doors, gates, and buildings.
Monitor CCTV equipment intermittently.
Operate vehicle and handheld radios.
Provide professional customer service to employees and visitors.
Respond to emergencies independently or in a team as directed.
Ability to complete official and unofficial reports.
Manage vehicle and pedestrian traffic through checkpoints, parking areas, and visitor use facilities.
Assist with VIP/dignitary visits and special events.
Guard tour patrols within scope of SOPs.
Emergency response reporting.
Follow HOP policies and procedures.
