Job summary

Grandview School District is seeking a Night Custodian to maintain a sanitary, safe and attractive environment within our school facilities. You will clean classrooms, offices, restrooms, gym, locker rooms, hallways, cafeteria and lobby, and ensure all areas are secure after hours.

Work involves 5 days per week (260 days per year) with hours from 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm. Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent; job-related experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Job related experience is desired.

Responsibilities

• Cleans assigned school facilities (e.g. classrooms, offices, restrooms, gym, locker rooms, hallways, cafeteria, lobby, etc.) for the purpose of maintaining a sanitary, safe and attractive environment
• Arranges furnishings and equipment for the purpose of providing adequate preparations for meetings, classroom activities and special events.
• Secures facilities and grounds (e.g. lights out, doors locked, check for cleanliness in/outside your area, remove all trash, etc.) for the purpose of minimizing property damage, equipment loss and potential liability to organization.
