Job summary

ATI is seeking a Saw Operator for our Monroe, NC facility. The role involves cutting orders with abrasive, MFL, and band saws, requiring attention to detail and independent work.

This position runs a night shift from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule, with training on a similar cycle. Responsibilities include setting up machines, changing blades, taking precise measurements, recording logs, and maintaining hardware integrity.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Cutting samples of metal.
• Operate as necessary to cut off prescribed sections and properly dispose.
• Set up machines, change blades, clean machine, and perform simple machine maintenance as needed.
• Read and interpret milling instructions MI s.
• Use tape measure and other measuring devices.
• Stamping materials with proper ID and put slings around the finished products.
• Maintain logs and records.
